Congratulations to Japan on its World Cup title!

We couldn’t have asked for a better kick-off to our Japan special: on Sunday evening, the Japanese women’s football team rocketed to a World Cup victory after a thrilling face-off against the USA, winning the championship and proudly hoisting the trophy for the whole world to see. With this win, the Japanese women’s football team has achieved what their male counterparts so far haven’t managed. And the Japanese people are beside themselves with excitement – which is hardly surprising, considering that the country hasn’t had much reason to celebrate in recent months.
